World Association for Disaster and Emergency Medicine

The World Association for Disaster and Emergency Medicine (WADEM) is a multidisciplinary professional association whose mission is the global improvement of prehospital and emergency health care, public health, and disaster health and preparedness. Its membership includes doctors nurses, disaster researchers, emergency managers, first responders, and students. WADEM members span the globe representing more than 55 countries.

Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre

Sunnybrook specializes in caring for high-risk pregnancies, critically-ill newborns and adults, offering specialized rehabilitation and treating and preventing cancer, cardiovascular disease, neurological and psychiatric disorders, orthopaedic and arthritic conditions and traumatic injuries. The Hospital also has a unique and national leading program for the care of Canada’s war veterans.

CBRNE Collaborative

The CBRNE Collaborative is community of experts who collectively aim to better educate and inform CBRNE training for individuals involved in HPC sectors and roles. CBRNE Collaborative works with Canadian and international partners to build emergency and disaster response networks, and medical and communications training.
