After a pandemic-induced, four-year hiatus, WADEM will convene the 22nd edition of its biennial conference, a meeting that brings together global experts to exchange knowledge and best practices on disaster medicine, prehospital care, and the health aspects of emergency management and complex humanitarian crises.
The Congress theme of “Complexity and Continuity: Caring, Coping, and Overcoming in an Increasingly Challenging World” builds on collective experiences from the ongoing COVID-19 response, environmental disasters, and the impacts of violence and conflict, with a specific focus on understanding emerging threats and their impact on our current and future communities, including the important role technology and innovation can play.
We are anticipating 800-1,000 delegates more from 50 nations in Killarney, representing a wide range of practitioners, researchers, and policymakers making the Congress an excellent opportunity to showcase your products and services, raise brand awareness, and be associated with the global effort to ensure improved health care responses to, preparedness for, and recovery from disasters and emergency situations.
Opportunities include overall sponsorship of the Congress; specific component sponsorship (i.e. of the Congress Dinner, Networking Reception, or poster sessions); supporting delegates from low-income countries, supporting students, and having a booth or table in the exhibition space, as well as some digital advertising options. Of note, we have added to the 2023 program a focus on innovation and development, an opportunity to highlight unique product or services development.
