A Virtual Reality Simulation Training for Prehospital MCI Management

Workshop Description
Participants from various backgrounds and experiences in prehospital mass casualty incident (MCI) preparedness and response will collaborate in the creation of an actual prehospital MCI response plan, using a virtual reality simulation tool. The class will be divided into three committees to work together and collectively produce a hazard vulnerability analysis, resource analysis, and an MCI plan of a fictional country.
Participants will receive lessons from experts, breakout sessions to guide each of the committees to work towards completion of their assignments, and virtual reality simulations to exercise their plan.
Workshop Directors
The workshop will be taught by Dr. Luca Ragazzoni and Dr. Marta Caviglia from CRIMEDIM.
Participants
This workshop is designed for a maximum of 30 participants.
Cost
The cost of the workshop is €70 and includes lunch and coffee/tea breaks.
