Dr. AlKhaldi is a Consultant of Emergency Medicine in Shaikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) Abu Dhabi. Dr. AlKhaldi is a UAE Graduate from the Medical School of UAE University and board-certified in Emergency Medicine from Rennes University-France. Dr. AlKhaldi completed three Harvard Affiliated fellowships: Disaster Medicine, International EMS and Pre-Hospital Care and Crisis leadership. Among many exercises, he participated in evaluating the medical response in the Federal Capstone Exercise 2014: Alaska Shield, a federal disaster drill, and worked as a section author on the new edition of Dr. Gregory R. Ciottone’s Disaster Medicine Book.
He is an evaluator in UAE government excellence programs. His particular interests within the realm of disaster medicine include Mass Gathering Medicine, International EMS, and Disaster Preparedness. Also, he has extensive experience in emergency and healthcare management, demonstrating exemplary leadership credentials and organization skills whilst working for the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA). A dedicated individual with a proven track record in successfully directing the execution of strategies and ensuring the effective delivery of safe and reliable healthcare across the SEHA entities through healthcare-related projects. Dr. AlKhaldi has held many leadership positions while working in Corporate SEHA (among which was Executive Project Manager and Acting Deputy Chief of Total Quality Division).
