Fadi Issa

Dr. Fadi Issa is the Director of Education at the BIDMC Disaster Medicine Fellowship. He is an Emergency Medicine Consultant with 12 years of experience in academic and clinical field.

Dr. Issa is a Jordanian board-certified emergency physician, a graduate of the European Master in Disaster Medicine (2015), and an alumni of BIDMC fellowship in Disaster Medicine (2018). He has deployed several times in humanitarian missions to serve Syrian refugees in Jordan and in response to natural disasters including Hurricane Dorian in Bahamas. Dr. Issa also served as Chair of the WADEM Counter-Terrorism Medicine Special Interest Group. His interests include disaster medicine education and simulation and youth preparedness programs and research.
