Andrew Lavelle, MA
Executive Officer
Andrew Lavelle is the WADEM Executive Officer. Andrew has worked for WADEM since 2008. He holds a Master's in International Studies (Ohio University; Ohio USA) and undergraduate degrees in International Relations and Political Science (University of Wisconsin; Wisconsin USA). Andrew manages the organization's website, social media channels, webinar series, and memberships; works with WADEM's conference organizer and journal publisher; and represents the association at meetings, conferences, and trade shows.

Ellen Johnson, MS
Managing Editor, Prehospital and Disaster Medicine
Ellen Johnson is the Managing Editor of Prehospital and Disaster Medicine. Starting as an Editorial Assistant her first year, she has worked for WADEM since 2013. She holds a Master's in Publishing (Pace University; New York USA) and an undergraduate degree in English (University of Wisconsin; Wisconsin USA). She is primarily in charge of the day-to-day production of the journal, as well as the editing, formatting, and proofing of each accepted manuscript. She encourages open communication with authors in hopes to create a positive experience publishing with the journal.

Kelly Hutchinson, ND
Program Assistant, Prehospital and Disaster Medicine
Kelly Hutchinson is the Program Assistant for Prehospital and Disaster Medicine and started working for WADEM in 2022. She holds a degree in Naturopathic Medicine (National University of Natural Medicine; Oregon USA) and an undergraduate degree in Family Studies (University of New Hampshire; New Hampshire USA). She assists Ellen with the editing, formatting, and proofing of each accepted manuscript.
