Improving global prehospital and emergency medicine, public health, and disaster health care and preparedness

Killarney, Ireland – 2023

Concurrent Sessions

Thank You to All the Delegates who Joined Us in Killarney in May!

More than 650 delegates from over 46 countries gathered at the Killarney Convention Centre in May for WADEM’s first in-person congress in four years to present their research, exchange ideas and experiences, and (re)connect with friends and colleagues. Special thanks to Lord Nigel Crisp, Dr. Saleh Fares Al-Ali, Dr. Ronan Glynn, Prof. Virginia Murray, Prof. Tony Redmond, and Flavio Salio for their plenary presentations.

WADEM would especially like to thank all the delegates, many of whom traveled long distances, for joining us Killarney! The wide variety of professions and nationalities represented truly make the congress a dynamic event. Several photo albums have been put together from the congress and can accessed using the following link – https://www.flickr.com/photos/wadem-2023/albums.

We hope you will be able to join us in two years where the congress will take place in the bustling metropolis of Tokyo from 2-6 May 2025. It has been more than a decade since the congress took place in Asia (Beijing 2011) and will be the second time in Japan (Osaka 1999).
