Taha Masri

Dr. Taha Masri is an internationally recognized physician and educator whose work bridges medicine, leadership, and innovation. Trained at Harvard Medical School in Disaster Medicine and Emergency Management and holding a Master’s degree in Healthcare Emergency Management from Boston University, he has dedicated his career to advancing global disaster preparedness and health security.

As Director of the Disaster Medicine Section at King Abdulaziz University Hospital, Dr. Masri leads multidisciplinary initiatives that strengthen hospital resilience, emergency planning, and national response capacity. His collaborations extend to the World Health Organization, Harvard Medical School, and the Saudi Space Agency, reflecting a commitment to innovation that spans from the front lines of healthcare to the frontier of disaster medicine.

Dr. Masri works to unify professionals across the region, promote academic excellence, and foster a culture of collaboration and preparedness that aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 and WADEM’s mission of advancing global health resilience.
