Miracle Abraham

Miracle Abraham is a fifth-year medical student and student researcher at the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan in Nigeria. She is passionate about student involvement in multidisciplinary Trauma and Critical Care, particularly in disaster-affected regions.

She serves on the curriculum review committee at Nigeria’s premier medical college. She has co-authored studies assessing student engagement and research self-efficacy among African medical students in resource-limited educational settings. She also currently serves as the Nigerian Director for the IASSS, the official student affiliate of the International Surgical Society, where she organizes events to promote Trauma Care as a budding specialty among early-career Nigerian clinicians.

Outside of medicine, she works in SEO, analyzes data, and volunteers with multiple non-governmental organizations dedicated to caring for underprivileged young women, pediatric patients, and elderly persons. After completing medical school, she hopes to pursue an anesthesia residency while researching in health policy and economics for LMICs.
