Registration for WADEM’s 24th Congress on Disaster and Emergency Medicine is now open!

Register on or before 13 January 2027 and save €25 with the Super Early rate! Members of WADEM are eligible for discounted registration for the Congress. A limited number of registration waivers will be available for delegates from low-income countries and students. More information about the application process will be posted in the coming months. Applicants for a registration waiver must have an accepted abstract to be eligible to apply.

The congress registration fees include:

access to the educational sessions and poster/exhibition space;
continuing medical education (CME) credits;
morning and afternoon coffee/tea breaks;
daily lunches (27-29 April); and
the evening networking reception on 27 April.

Please note that the registration fees do not include travel expenses or hotel accommodation. Please see the accommodation page to view hotels near the venue with preferred delegate rates. It is strongly recommended that you purchase travel insurance. The registration rates below are in euros (EUR). The registration fees are inclusive of the required 10% valued added tax (VAT).

* The discounted registration fee is available to delegates from low-income and lower-middle-income countries as defined by the World Bank.

** Students are subject to verification from the delegate’s university or institution. Students must be enrolled in a full-time degree program.

Please include your WADEM membership number for the discounted-member rate. You can find your member number on the Profile or Membership Account pages on the website or in the confirmation email that is sent when renewing a membership or joining WADEM.

Entry and Visa Requirements

Your passport should be valid for the duration of your stay in France. Citizens of approximately 60 countries do not require a visa to enter France. Please check if the French government requires you to have a visa for entry.

If you require a visa, you can request a visa invitation letter during the registration process. Please note, the registration payment must be completed before the letter can be issued. If your visa is denied, your registration payment will be refunded minus a 5% administrative fee. You will need to provide documentation of the visa denial for the refund to be processed.
It is recommended that you apply for your visa as early as possible.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations of congress registrations must be submitted in writing to – info@wadem.org. By registering, you understand and agree to the cancellation policy.

Cancelling 60 days prior to the congress (February 25) will involve a 20% penalty.
Cancelling between 59 days and 30 days prior to the congress (March 27) will involve a 50% penalty.
Cancelling 29 days prior to the congress (March 28) will involve a 100% penalty. No refund will be made.
If you need a visa to enter France and your visa application is denied, your registration payment will be refunded minus a 5% administrative fee. You will need to provide documentation of the visa denial for the refund to be processed.

It is strongly recommended that you purchase travel insurance.

Video and Photography Consent

Please be advised that photography or video recording may take place at the congress. By registering, you are giving your consent for a photographer, WADEM, the Centre des Congrès de la Villette, and Health & Science by GL events (the conference organizer) to take photos or video and to use them throughout the world in all and any media, including but not limited to printed publications, presentations, promotional materials, or online, in their original format or edited.
