PDM Review Board

PDM is expanding its Review Board, a curated group of reviewers who directly support editorial decisions and uphold the scientific standard of disaster medicine. This is a role for individuals with a demonstrated track record in academic research and peer review.
Why it matters?
Good peer review is the backbone of credible science. This is an opportunity to influence what gets published, raise the standard of the field, and strengthen your own academic profile.

Minimum requirements:
- Advanced degree (MD, MSc, PhD, or equivalent) in a relevant field
- University academic appointment
- 10 or more academic publications
- Two or more publications as first, last, or corresponding author
- H-index ≥3
- 10 or more completed peer reviews
Responsibilities (two-year term):
- Approximately 12 manuscript reviews over two years
- Biannual Zoom meetings
- 20-40 hours/year commitment
