Dr. Zainab is a distinguished emergency medicine physician and academic leader with extensive expertise in emergency medical services and disaster medicine. A graduate of the Saudi Board of Emergency Medicine (2018) and the prestigious Disaster Medicine and International EMS Fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School (2022), she currently serves as Consultant of Emergency Medicine and Section Head of EMS at King Abdulaziz Medical City, Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs in Riyadh. In addition to these leadership roles, she serves as Acting Section Head of Emergency Care at Women’s Health Hospital, demonstrating her versatility in managing diverse health care environments and her commitment to advancing emergency medical services across multiple clinical settings.
As an Assistant Professor of EMS at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Dr. Zainab plays a pivotal role as core faculty in the Executive Master’s program in Industrial and Radiation Substance Hazards, where she has made significant contributions to curriculum development and the advancement of specialized emergency response education. Her academic pursuits extend beyond teaching, with active involvement in emergency medicine research and contributions to peer-reviewed publications. Through her dual roles in clinical leadership and academic medicine, she continues to shape the future of emergency health care delivery and education in Saudi Arabia, while fostering evidence-based practices through her research initiatives and scholarly contributions.
