Dr. Derrick Tin is a Disaster Medicine specialist with extensive operational experience deploying into austere and remote environments. He was involved in several large-scale multi-agency, cross-national health emergencies, from state quarantine systems at the height of covid to international humanitarian operations with the USNS Comfort.
Dr. Tin was awarded multiple scholarships to pursue his interests in Disaster Medicine, completing both a Masters in Disaster Medicine in Australia and a Fellowship in Disaster Medicine at the prestigious BIDMC/ Harvard Medical School program where he remains a core faculty.
