Registration for WADEM’s 23rd Congress on Disaster and Emergency Medicine will open in August.
Register before 15 January 2025 and save ¥5,000 with the Super Early rate! Members of WADEM are eligible for discounted registration for the Congress. A limited number of registration waivers will be available for delegates from low-income countries and students. More information about the application process will be posted in the coming months. Applicants must have an accepted abstract to be eligible to apply.
Not yet a member? Join the association and save ¥5,000-¥20,000 off the registration fees. If you have any questions about registration or membership, please contact the International Office.
The congress registration fees include:
- access to all the educational sessions and poster/exhibition space;
- morning and afternoon coffee/tea breaks;
- daily lunches (3-5 May); and
- the evening networking reception on 2 May.
WADEM will apply for accreditation and anticipates that CME credits will be available to delegates who participate in the congress.

Please include your WADEM membership number for the discounted-member rate. You can find your member number on the Profile or Membership Account pages on the website or in the confirmation email that is sent when renewing a membership or joining WADEM.
Visa Requirements
Please check and see if the Japanese government requires you to have a visa for entry.

Please be advised that photography or video recording may take place at the congress. By registering, you are giving your consent for the photographer, WADEM, the Keio Plaza Hotel, and Japan Convention Services (the conference organizer) to take photos or video and to use them throughout the world in all and any media, including but not limited to printed publications, presentations, promotional materials, or online, in their original format or edited.
