Kaitlyn Watson

Dr. Kaitlyn Watson is an internationally recognised disaster pharmacist researcher and the founder of Disaster Pharmacy Solutions which offers disaster preparedness and education to the pharmacy workforce. Kaitlyn currently works as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the EPICORE Centre, Department of Medicine at the University of Alberta in Canada focusing on pharmacy practice research.

Dr. Watson has previously been a consultant for the World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe with a focus on public health emergency management and she is the co-chair of the World Association for Disaster and Emergency Medicine (WADEM) Primary Healthcare Special Interest Group. Dr. Watson is an Australian registered pharmacist and a mixed methods researcher. Her research interests are in primary healthcare, pharmacy practice, and emergency management.
